The virtual Photon 2020 programme is now live! Please check the programme tab and note all times are in BST
AnnouncementThe IOP has made the decision to cancel all physical group conferences, nations and branch events until the end of September due to the risks associated with COVID-19 (also known as Coronavirus). Photon 2020 will now be held as a virtual event on the same dates. The group committees are now consulting on how best to deliver the event online and further information will be available here shortly. In the meantime, authors who are interested in giving a virtual presentation at the conference are invited to submit an abstract for presentation. Note that due to the online format, the number of oral presentations may be limited. In addition, we are pleased to announce that participants with an accepted abstract will have the opportunity to submit a paper for publication in the Journal of Physics Conference Series (JPCS). Further information will be available after the programme is confirmed. |
About the conferencePhoton 2020 is the major Optics and Photonics conference organised by the Institute of Physics in the UK and the tenth in the biennial series that started in 2002. Over four days, Photon participants will have the opportunity to visit exhibitions on the latest in optics and photonics technology, attend lectures from experts in the field, and get up to date with cutting-edge research. The programme will consist of plenary and invited talks, as well as contributed presentations and posters. |
Organised by the IOP Environmental Physics, Instrument and Science Technology, Optical, Quantum Electronics and Photonics, Quantum Optics, Quantum Information and Quantum Control and Medical Physics groups. |
